Item Profile Definition Page

The Item Profile Definition page allows you to create a new item profile definition for your online store catalog. Once created, it will appear as a product listing in your online store catalog. Following is an example of the Item Profile Definition page.

The Item Profile Definition page contains the following elements.

Element	Definition
Profile ID	Allows you to assign your own internal Profile ID number to the listing.
Display ID	Allows you to assign your own internal Display ID number to the listing.
Mfg. Item ID	Allows you to assign your own internal Mfg. Item ID number to the listing. For more information, see the Item Master Listing Page topic.
Brand	Allows you to select a product brand for the item you are listing. For more information, see the Brand Listing Page topic.
Promotion	Allows you to select an active promotion for the item you are listing. For more information, see the Promotion Listing Page topic.
General Tab
Item Name	Enter a name for the listing in this field. This will appear as the item title in your product catalog.
Availability Mode	Allows you to select a product availability mode for the listing. Options are as follows: Default Displays whether or not the item is currently in stock. You must create an agency for your store location in order to display inventory levels. See Agencies for more information. Available to Promise Gives customers an estimated time frame for delivery of the item. Branch: In/Out Stock Displays whether or not the item is currently in stock. You must create an agency for your store location in order to display inventory levels. See Agencies for more information. Branch: Qty On Hand Displays inventory levels for the item at each of your store branches. You must create an agency for each of your store branches in order to display inventory levels. See Agencies for more information. Don't show Availability Allows you to hide inventory availability on your listing. In/Out Stock Displays whether the item is in or out of stock. You must create an agency for your store location in order to display inventory levels. See Agencies for more information. Lead Time Displays the time period that item will be shipped in (in days). Qty On Hand Displays current inventory levels. You must create an agency for your store location in order to display inventory levels. See Agencies for more information. Text... Allows you to create a custom text message regarding availability for your listed item.
Availability Text	Allows you to enter a custom text message regarding the availability of your listed item.
Price Display Modes	Allows you to select a price display mode. Options are as follows: (Default) Display Discount Price Allows you to display a discounted price. Display List and Discount Price Allows you to display both the list and discounted prices. Display Price in Cart only Requires users to add the item to their cart in order to see the price. Never Display Price (not sellable) Allows you to never display the price for a non-sellable item. Request for Quote (not sellable) Allows users to submit a request for quote for an item that isn't sellable.
Alternate Price Text	Allows you to enter alternate price text if you have selected either the Display Price in Cart only, Never Display Price (not sellable), or Request for Quote (not sellable) option in the Price Display Modes drop-down menu.
Popularity Rating	Allows you to enter a number to be used in conjunction with a Popularity Rating search property. The lower the number you use in this field, the higher it would rank in searches. In order to use this option with your searches, you must first create a popularity rating search property on the Search Property Configuration Page.
Active	When selected, the item will appear in your store catalog. When de-selected, the item will not appear in your store catalog.
Sellable	Allows you to designate the item as sellable. When de-selected, customers will not be able to purchase the item.
Over Selling	Allows you to sell beyond your current inventory levels of this item.
Allow Product Reviews	Allows users of your website to submit product reviews.
Sold By Dealers	Select this checkbox if your item is going to be sold by dealers.
New	Click to add an Item Class for this listing.
Description Tab
Item Description Text	Allows you to enter long, short, and technical descriptions of your item listing, depending on the option you select in the drop-down menu at the top of the formatting tools area. You can use the formatting tools on this tab to customize the look and feel of your descriptions.
Linked Items Tab
New	Allows you to link items to this listing as one of the following types: Accessories, Cross-sell, Replacements, or Variants.
SEO Tab
Page Title	Allows you to enter your SEO page title for this listing.
Alt Image Text	Allows you to enter your SEO alt image text for this listing.
Meta Description	Allows you to enter an SEO meta description for this listing.
Meta Keywords	Allows you to add SEO keywords for this listing.
Images Tab
Primary Fullsize Path	Allows you to select the path for your primary image for this listing.
Primary Thumbnail Path	Allows you to select the path for your primary thumbnail image for this listing.
New	Allows you to select a sequence, fullsize path, thumbnail path, and alt image text for any alternate images you want to add to your listing.
Documents Tab
Search	Click to search for documents you want to upload in relation to this item for your listing.
Upload	Click to upload any related documents to this listing.
